Lunch & Learn: Trauma-Informed Approaches to Working with Religious Diversity

This lunch-and-learn introduces trauma-informed approaches to working with religious diversity in practice. Participants will explore how clients relate to religion and spirituality in diverse ways, including both sources of healing and histories of harm. The training will offer guidance on how to ask about spiritual or religious practices during assessment and integrate this information respectfully into treatment planning. We will also examine how personal biases can shape practice. By strengthening self-awareness and cultural humility, you will be better equipped to create spaces for discussing religious diversity and spirituality.
