Hispanic/ Latino/a/e Heritage Month and Beyond: A Faculty Panel

Designated a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), Montclair State University is committed to promoting an inclusive environment to support the success and sense of belonging of all Hispanic students, faculty, and staff. What can faculty do to achieve this goal in their classrooms? Inspired by Hispanic/Latino/a/e Heritage Month, we’ve invited several faculty to talk about their experiences and practices around issues of representation, support, identity, belonging, and bias. Our faculty panelists share their strategies for making Hispanic/Latino/a/e Heritage Month more than a month.
